Radha Bharadwaj

I am of East Indian origin. I have written, directed and acted in theatre productions since age 12. I won the Nicholl Screenwriting award for my debut feature, CLOSET LAND. The two-hander, set in a single room, stars Madeleine Stowe and Alan Rickman; Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment produced the film, and Universal released it. My second feature is the Victorian Gothic mystery BASIL, starring Jared Leto, Christian Slater and Derek Jacobi. My third feature is Space MOMs, based on the real-life women-rocket scientists of India's groundbreaking 2014 Mars Orbiter Mission.
