About Samantha

With an Award Winning career that has spanned more than 12 years, I have worked on Magazine Photo Shoots, Television Productions and Hollywood Movie Sets.

I have had the opportunity to work on various Los Angeles based Emmy Nominated Television Shows, Music Videos (MTV), Movies, Runway Shows (Mercedes Benz Fashion Week NYC, Philly Fashion Week, Winner of Philadelphia’s Raw Makeup Artist of The Year), Commercials, Special Effects, Live Stage Performances, Bridal Makeup and more.

In addition to Television work I have done an extensive amount of Print Makeup for clients including The Philadelphia Inquirer, Makeup Artist Magazine, Philadelphia Style Magazine, LaunchPad Magazine (Winner of Editor’s Pick of the Week), Campbell’s Soup, and more.

I am a graduate of The Rizzieri Aveda Institute with a background in Esthiology, which includes a degree and license to provide Makeup Applications, Skin Care Therapy, and Waxing Treatments. In addition, I have also completed a degree graduating with Honors in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), located in Los Angeles.

In addition to performing Makeup Services, I enjoy blogging as well as about Beauty Trends, Makeup Tips, Do It Yourself Projects, Skin Care, Tutorials and Product Reviews. Also, I have joined the recent launch of Google Helpouts as a beauty advisor, offering live beauty consultations and makeup tutorials over the web.

Throughout my life, I have donated a helping hand and my beauty services to a variety of charity organizations. Also, I’ve participated in various events to help raise awareness which I find very rewarding.

Makeup Artistry is my absolute passion in life and I enjoy every aspect of working within the beauty, fashion and entertainment industries. My goal is to stretch the limits of creativity and to help others feel beautiful in their own skin.
