Born to phys-ed and astronomy teachers, Kevin notably has no aptitude for sports or science, but compensates by being first in line for sports or science fiction films. A lifelong creative with a passion for endeavors that inspire and uplift the human spirit, he’s building on a career in design with the National Park Service by telling its 'origin story' with his script, GREEN BLOODS – based on the inspiring true story of Stephen Mather’s audacious, life-threatening quest to establish the U.S. National Park Service in 1916.
Since placing as a quarterfinalist, second-rounder, semifinalist, and finalist in a number of recent contests with GREEN BLOODS, he's seeking to expand his writing network and gain representation and/or a producer who would be interested in transforming this compelling American story into the feature film it yearns to be (à la HIDDEN FIGURES meets PLANET EARTH).
GREEN BLOODS Historical ⋄ Drama While secretly battling manic-depression, a tenacious early 20th Century industrialist puts his riches, reputation, and life on the line in a fevered push to establish an American conservation triumph: the U.S. National Park Service. Based on Stephen Tyng Mather’s true and remarkable, untold story.
