Bill Booz is an adventure seeker who’s mission is to engage in
and live an extraordinary life by traveling the World, documenting
his experiences on photo and video and achieving life fulfillment.
Bill started on his adventures shortly before deciding to backpack
the entire 2,160 mile long Appalachian Trail, a wilderness footpath
that extends from Georgia to Maine over a 7 month time frame.
This was an odyssey that took him through 14 states and is
estimated to take about 5,000,000 steps to complete.
Bill’s adventures have not stopped there. He has been to all 50 states, as well as exotic
places like China, Australia and Africa. He has SCUBA dived on the Great Barrier Reef in
Australia, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and hiked on the Great Wall of China.
Adventures like tracking Silverback gorillas in Rwanda, swimming with sharks in Central
America and monkey’s jumping into his arms in China have all contributed to his amazing
experiences. He has been on over 250 adventures spanning 5 of 7 continents. In addition to
traveling the World, he also enjoys giving financial advice and film making. Bill is an
accomplished photographer and had his work published in magazines in the United States
and abroad. He took first place in the Rwanda Air Magazine for landscape photography in
Africa and has appeared on TV, radio, newspapers and magazines. Bill’s first book, Seasons
and Colors of the Appalachian Mountains, is a pictorial guide that has been well received.
His second book, Total Return Life™ is due to be published soon.
