Mohamed Badissy Bio
Unique traits: I was born in Casablanca, Morocco. I speak Arabic fluently as it's my native language and have a good level in English as well so I can work with foreign directors. My solo trips around the world and the extra jobs I have had have enriched me personally and given me a love of human relations. These diverse experiences help me everyday as a professional actor which is my main professional activity. From being a waiter, a postman, a chauffeur to working with handicapped children, my personal experiences help contribute everyday to the construction of my imagination and to the interpretation of the characters I portray in films. I am a real sports lover, being a former Sports Science student, specialising in Handball. Our team reached third place in the French National Championships two years in a row. I have been a member of a boxing club for the past five years which includes a weekly weight-training programme. Staying fit and healthy is one of my priorities. I also practised the self-defense techniques, Penchak Silat and Krav Maga for several years. I trained at the "Cours Simon" and I also studied theatrical fencing with the Master Fencer Bob Heddle-Roboth of the Academie d’Armes de France.I have expert knowledge of the fleuret, dague, pirate and jedi techniques. I am also a keen fan of extreme sports such as snowboarding and parachuting. Hip hop, break dancing, tap, improvisation, mime, oriental Darbuka, clowning and singing are also part of my training. I have been lucky enough to travel to Morocco, New York, Australia, London, Spain, The Dominican Republic, Turkey, Belgium and Greece. For several years now, I have participated in all the Master Classes given by the American coach, Bob McAndrew when he comes to Paris (Actors' Studio techniques: Meisner, Strasberg, Chekhov and Stanislavski). If you are interested in my profile for TV or for film, then don't hesitate to contact me, I'd be delighted to meet you…
