I was born in the Central Valley of California, and raised throughout there and in Sacramento. But my heart belongs to New York City where life truly moves with my own frenetic pace. As a child I spend every moment putting on plays with my two sisters; we were the coolest kids I knew.
I spent my teens in the Los Angeles film and TV world before returning to Sacramento, where I finished my education at Sacramento State University studying British Literature--another passion of mine.
I also spent two years "active" duty in the Army National Guard; the most epically fun summer I ever had was in Basic Training. I mean, I was miserable at the time, but in retrospect it was the coolest summer camp experience any parents could have sent their kid off to.
I have a uniquely wild imagination and a sharp tongue. I wish I could say, "In my downtime, I love to read with a nice Beaujolais...", and all that, but honestly there just aren't enough hours in the day.
I'm a little too obsessed with slipping quotes from Ellen's "Here & Now"; "Bridesmaids" and "The Newsroom" into daily conversations. And at the end of the day my favorite thing in the world is the perfect combination of great wine, great food, and great company.
