Andressa Furletti

Andressa Furletti is a Brazilian actress, filmmaker, and artistic director of Group .BR. She has
degrees in Biology, Filmmaking and the Conservatory at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She
attended workshops and intensives such as the Watermill International Summer Program (2011
and 2012) coordinated by Robert Wilson. She wrote and directed awarded short films and her first
solo play, free•dom - a solo of many people, was awarded best multimedia show at the United Solo
Festival in NY. Andressa recent works include Group .BR’s The Serpent and Infinite While it Lasts
and Apple of My Eye, first professionally produced play written and starred by a Down Syndrome
artist. She was two times nominated to the Brazilian International Press Award in the categories
Actor and Film and Video along with the nomination of two of the shows she created.
