About Michael
My Name is Mike Peck. I was born and raised in Utah. I presently live in St George, Utah. I have always been fascinated by the movies and how they are made. I have been especially fond of the special effects side of movie magic. Although I have spent the last 20 plus years in the construction business, I have always wanted to work with a prop house or an effects studio. I have learned Utah is not the place for that. I have volunteered at every possible opportunity to assist on short films and stage productions, and have contributed to several award winning short films. I have had a fantastic time doing so. I am really looking to move on from the construction field and into a more creative career. I am currently studying at Dixie State University. I have taken post production and advanced post production. I have had the opportunity to study special effects under Robert Willard at Dixie as well. I am really excited for the next adventure to begin.
