A 1984 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, Tom Lockridge has been a successful attorney for more than 25 years. Tom served as a writer and producer of the Lionsgate release "Unrequited" and is the co-founder of Lucky Day Studios. He is the writer, director, and producer of the short film" The Cycle" and the project "Ethics: The Movie", an attorney training film that has been screened, reviewed and acclaimed nationwide. Tom travels the country lecturing and consulting on legal ethics and is a member of the Writers Guild of America.
Unique traits: Tom Lockridge spent more than 25 years as a felony prosecutor and was the lead prosecutor on all types of serious felony trials including rape, robbery, drug trafficking, child abuse and pornography, and five capital murders. As a civil attorney, he has tried cases for the plaintiff and the defense on cases ranging from products liability to slip and fall. Tom is now pursuing his passion as a writer/producer of feature films. His experience in the courtroom provides a deep well of knowledge regarding human failings, evil, downward spirals, repentance and forgiveness. He is available to consult with writers, directors, actors and producers regarding the justice system, criminal law and procedures, legal ethics, special defenses and pitfalls for the lawyers in crime/courtroom stories.
