About Chris

Chris Brannick – who? Writer, percussionist, composer, singer and actor, with both maths and music degrees.

Nominated for the Global Motion Picture Awards 'Best Screenplay' in 2018 for 'Murder, She Prayed'. I've twice been one of the winners of the Chesil Theatre 10x10 competition for 'All And Nothing' and 'The Man Who Mis-Sold The World'. My comedy 'Take It Like A Man' reached the semi-finals of the TV Industry Insider contest.

'Get Fit With Bruce Willis' was performed at the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes, and this year my company Two Foolish Productions will be taking 'Painted Love' to both fringe festivals.

Currently specialising in female-led comedy dramas.

My past life includes being an internationally known performer of contemporary percussion, as well as performing as a cabaret entertainer in New York. My acting roles have covered moles, journalists and flying mathematicians. My book World Beats is published by A&C Black and I am a music examiner for ABRSM.

Unique traits: High level musical abilities, analytical mindset, used to get 'don't you look like Bruce Willis', now gets 'don't you look like J.K. Simmons' since the release of Whiplash. Something to do with the hairstyle.
