Denise McCanles is a native of Hollywood who started setting goals for herself at an early age. Her determination and entrepreneurial spirit were evident in everything she did, whether it was setting up the best (and only) snow cone stand in her neighborhood at the ripe old age of nine, or losing 50 pounds and competing in triathlons, or moving to New York to study theater. Denise has always set goals for herself and explored the results.
After returning to Los Angeles, Denise was looking for a new challenge, and she found it in something that scared her to death: stand-up comedy. She performed stand-up for a number of years, then shifted gears and started shooting and editing video, eventually producing her own woman-on-the-street video interviews because she loved connecting with people and talking to them about life's absurdities. She then started her own video business specializing in videotaping and editing people discussing their life stories. She was so moved and intrigued by what she heard from people during these interviews that she decided she wanted to do more, so she became a coach to help people realize their potential and achieve their goals.
