About Jake

I have worked in the music departments of major films and recordings as a composer, performer, arranger, orchestrator and co-composer.

I originally studied as a Viola player and Pianist at the Royal College of Music. I went on to perform with the London Symphony Orchestra and from there played around the world with The Royal Opera House, Royal Philharmonic, the Philharmonia and others. I've also worked with some of the greatest living contemporary musicians including Burt Bacharach, Van Morrison, Tom Jones, Take That, and many others. Alongside these collaborations I developed my scoring to picture skills and moved into the world of scoring music for film, tv and advertising.
