Shelagh Leonard

Retired from working in corporate communications and now studying with Oxford University continuing education. I have completed three terms in scriptwriting and written a stageplay which I'm rewriting as a TV script. I am also working on a three part crime script for TV about a small boy who disappears while walking to school with his mother.
To push myself further I'm enrolled on a stand up course to learn the art of writing and delivering comedy. I have tons of ideas and wish I could start sooner than September when the course begins.
I volunteer in a police museum which holds the records for the police forces around the Oxford area. Lots of material for future scripts including the horrific murder of an entire family in the 1800s when the murderer got his revenge on the blacksmith who sacked him from his job.
