Robert Jackson

Robert Jackson is an accomplished and seasoned audio technology and visual media professional from the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Currently the Executive Director of B-Roll Media & Arts, Inc., a 501 (c ) 3 organization which provides arts and media education to under-served and underprivileged youth, Jackson has a myriad of accomplishments in the media and production industry.

A graduate of American University and veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served as a photographer, Jackson’s experience stretches across major broadcast networks such as CNN, BET, NBC and NPR as well as countries around the globe. Jackson has utilized his audio/visual skills through Scorpio Sound Systems, Inc., his full service production company. His background includes being a technical manager, production manager and audio consultant for projects ranging from music and entertainment to government & politics and independent documentaries. As a result, he has brushed shoulders with influential and respected leaders and dignitaries in multiple industries and outlets.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Robert Jackson works to help others create stories and memories that are captured in photographs, sound bites and video clips. Through both of his companies and with the assistance of his equally esteemed and qualified colleagues, Robert’s goal is to bring stories to life on film and educate the youth on how to turn a passion for media into a successful long-term career.
