Except for a brief stint in the US Coast Guard, I have worked in radio as announcer. copywriter, producer, and voiceover talent in Seattle, Dallas, and Houston for over 25 years. A love of movies and a healthy ego has driven me to write something longer than 30 or 60 seconds. I waded into the deep waters of writing screenplays a year ago, and with the help of a great mentor I have finished my second screenplay, "Emergency Run" and the seeds of 5 more in the top drawer.
I enjoy living and writing in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am the father of two wonderful (adult) children: My son, David and my daughter Sarah.
Unique traits: I write everyday for 3 to 4 hours and spend another 3 or 4 hours in "learning mode". I am always looking for ways to improve. I have been accused by more than 1 reader that I write funny dialogue, although my latest screenplay is action-adventure and not a comedy. I also express myself by drawing and cooking.
Emergency Run Adventure A survivor of the bombing of the battleship Maine is rescued by Cuban gun-smugglers who help him escape to safety, while his best friend sets out on an emergency run to search for him, on the eve of the Spanish-American War.
