Carol Price-Williams hails from Austin, Texas the “keep it weird” capital
of the world. Inspired to become a rule-breaking filmmaker, she
dedicated herself to learning the rules so that she might break them
more fully and artistically. To this end, she earned a bachelor’s degree
in communications from the University of Texas, at Arlington and then
was forced to work in the “real world” in various industries in order to
repay monumental student loans and pay grown people bills. She
turned her attention to screenwriting, writing her first feature-length
screenplay during slow periods on the job. That script wasn’t very good.
However, her second screenplay has promise to turn out great, KASSA
MUSA’S GOLD tells the story of a con artist who gets caught but makes
a deal to out con the Russian and Chinese mob in order to stay out of
jail. Carol lives with her husband Ron in Dallas, TX.
Unique traits: I'm smart. I have the ability to make people laugh and I can cross my toes.
