The Wild Ways-Mystery of the Hanging Tower, middle-grade chapter book suitable for ages 9 to 90. A fantasy wherein animals recruit a human child to help them save their homeland from certain destruction; they give him the ability to talk with animals. Released in December 2015, this book is gaining traction.
The Thirty-ninth Man, published by North Star Press, was released in June of 2013 and has received excellent reviews. It was listed in the Star Tribune reader survey for best book read in 2013.
Poet – Poetry included in two annual stage production at, Black Box Theatre, Bloomington, Minnesota.
Playwright – Radio play – Stink Bomb, comedy performed on stage at Lakes Area Theatre, Alexandria, Minnesota, in June, 2013, later aired on eleven radio stations statewide. A second half-hour play is in rehearsal for a live performance on June 14, 2014. This will also air statewide in July 2014.
The screenplay for The Thirty-ninth man is in process.
Unique traits: In addition to bible study, some of my favorite pastimes involve hunting, camping, canoeing, and travel. I’ve bow hunted the big timber from California to New Hampshire and the croplands between; canoed the BWCA, the Manistee, and the Merrimac; snorkeled in the Sea of Marmara, tracked satellites in Tananarive, Madagascar, and I can start a campfire after five days of steady rain.
