About Jonathan
Jonathan Marrs is a professional filmmaker and visual artist based out of Portland, Oregon. He received his BA from Azusa Pacific University and his MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Marrs’ projects have focused on documentary practices, identity, and subjectivity. In addition to founding two companies, his artwork has been on display across the U.S. Numerous film festivals have screened his work including the Eugene International (winner of Best Short Documentary), Northwest Filmmakers, West Virginia Mountaineer, and Seattle True Independent.
