An Emmy-winning, writer and producer, Stephanie Bianca has produced documentary and unscripted programming for network and cable television. She graduated from The New School in New York with a focus in documentary film, studied art and illustration in London, and was a theatre major at Bennington College in Vermont.
While living in New York, Stephanie was involved in the production of celebrity award shows and live musical events geared to the Hispanic market. She co-produced both a Latin sketch and a standup comedy show, each running for two years at Caroline’s on Broadway.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Stephanie worked for Bloomberg LP, managing the financial newsroom. She also created and published a daily international online newsletter. Besides producing for television, Stephanie has edited manuscripts, screenplays, TV pilots and feature treatments. She also works as the Talent Coordinator for Bhakti Fest, one of the the world's biggest yoga and kirtan festival.
After heavyweight boxer, Dale Crowe, and former world heavyweight champion, Greg Page, appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show; Stephanie optioned the rights and wrote the screenplay, The Tenth Round, based on their tragic fight in 2001. The film is currently in development with a $13M budget..
Her latest screenplay, Trunk of an Elephant, is a harrowing, female-driven war drama with interwoven storylines and a diverse cast, that takes place in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
