About Sami

Hi!

I'm a Finnish filmmaker and a CEO of Kreatos Films.

I've been writing, directing and producing indie short films since 2011. Currently, I'm working on a feature film screenplay for a indie romance with magical and dreamy elements, something akin to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind by Charlie Kaufman.

I'm looking for an international co-production company to start a collaboration in the development and funding process. My long term vision is to be able to travel the world and create films that inspire emotions of awe, mystery and an overwhelming blend of cosmic beauty and horror.

My favourite genres are mindtwisting stories that ask deep questions about humanity, but at the same time manage to hold up to a good narrative structure and an entertaining aesthetics. Often they are character driven dramas that can be blended with either science fiction elements, magical elements or surrealistic elements, or even horror elements. Think of Charlie Kaufman, David Lynch, Alejandro Inarritu, etc.
