About Diane

Diane has a BFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Professional Writing (Emerson College). Four features have been optioned, and several screenplays have done very well in prestigious screenplay competitions, including the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting (semifinalist), Austin Film Festival, and PAGE International Screenwriting Awards (Silver and Bronze Awards). Her screenplays also have earned first place at the Houston International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, and the LA Femme Film Festival. In addition, she's taught screenwriting at Roger Williams University and was a guest lecturer at Stonehill College and Emerson College.

Unique traits: Diane also is a medical writer, who spends her days making complex research understandable. This has been hugely helpful in editing her screenplays and teleplays. Using fewer words is always better.
