About Brian
Educated K-12, then got an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from CCBC. 2003 I started writing after my only heart-break. Then I started at Robert Morris University in 2005 for a Bachelors in Film/TV Production. In 2009 I was in my first film called She's Out of My League, filmed in Pittsburgh.
Then I joined the Pennsylvania Film Industry Association, (PAFIA,) and Mosser Casting and have been in over a dozen TV Shows and Feature Films like: Jack Reacher, Out of the Furnace, Concussion, Love the Coopers, Banshee, Outsiders, American Pastoral, the Outsiders, basically everything that films near Pittsburgh...Fences, American Pickle, Ma Rainey's, Manhunt.....
Then in 2020 I got my first starring role in: Red Woods, (2021.) That got me an IMDb page: Brian E Stead. However, I write and direct Films. I just entered a short screenplay called Bad Dreams into the 13 contest and I am just getting started. I have about 30 Films and 3 TV Shows to make and help the World.... Logline Betrayal Comedy A semi-talented, young writer posted a logline on a social media site and it was stolen. So, he hunted the person down with a pair of pliers and a blow-torch and went full Pulp Fiction on their ass. : ) I have posted a couple on Coverfly and other sites, but I have little trust in hollywood types. They are, I don't want to say vultures, but they only remake and reboot. They do not create original ideas anymore. Like the Star Wars sequels, the ultimate reboots. Siblings with the Force separated at birth, (Luke/Leia, Kylo/Rey,) good kid turns bad guy, turns good guy, (Darth/Kylo)...

Bad Dreams Budget: $0 - $100K | Horror ⋄ Comedy A young, gentle girl named Jen has to deal with her demons, literally.
