After a demonic attack kills her son, a former countess seeks an ancient sorceress to revive her heir and secure the bloodline against rivals intent on destroying her family.

SYNOPSIS:

Vallalade Vineyards. Farmers pick grapes overlooking the mountain lake. In the wine cellar, GIORGIO samples wine from a barrel. SYLVIA slips in, closes the door behind her and removes her panties. She seduces him. A car horn honks. The young lovers get busted. Giorgio is warned not to break her heart. Giorgio hurries in the waiting limo. They are late. Out of the shadows with a black bull, MORAX watches them leave. Morax climbs atop the bull and it transforms into a muscle car and pursues the limo. Giorgio arrives at Hotel Bellon for the annual wine contest. The hotelier, SOLAME casts a spell and curses Giorgio. Morax kills the valet and transforms into the bellboy.

Isle of Palera, the palace is decorated for a party in anticipation of Giorgio’s victory. Barricades keep crowds back as celebrities arrive. Two peacocks and a heron fly in the window. They transform into chambermaids and fuss over the former countess, LIVIANA. They do her hair and nails and makeup for the party.

In the grand ballroom, Hotel Bellon, judges announce the winners. A rival label takes silver. Giorgio’s entry wins gold. Disguised as the valet, Morax stabs Giorgio as he leaves. Wounded, Giorgio fights back and kills Morax. Giorgio is rushed into the lobby. A doctor tries to stop the bleeding but fails. They rush Giorgio home. Sylvia reveals she was to marry Giorgio.

Liviana is at Giorgio’s side when he dies. She refuses to let her son go. She has given her other son to the war. Liviana delivers Giorgio to an ancient and masked sorceress, THE LADY OF THE LAKE, who in a ceremony revives Giorgio but he is more beast than human. Fishermen are hired to kidnap local girls, virgins, old enough to bare children. While upstairs a great party ensues, Giorgio rapes each of the girls in turn.

Liviana’s rivals Solame and Cosima plot to replace Giorgio as the heir apparent to the Vallalade wine legacy and cut her palace and hotel off from the local vintages. Without any heirs they plot her removal from the palace. Liviana assures her guest that Giorgio is alive and well and on his honeymoon. When the doctor fails to hold his tongue, Liviana seeks the help of the sorceress to silence him. The doctor is torn apart by birds aboard his boat. Giorgio is released to roam the countryside.

The kidnapped girls are pregnant and offered gold to remain. The first gives birth to a stillborn. Its a sign the mother was not a virgin. Liviana has revenge on the offending fisherman. He is cursed with a boil that festers. At the harbor he devoured alive by rats. The first kidnapped girl is released. Warned not to talk, she goes straight to the police. When a cop interviews her a giant worm rises out of her mouth and kills her. The second girl gives birth to a baby girl and is released back to her home. She lives so long as she refuses to talk. The third girl gives birth to a boy. A priest convinces her to talk and she dies from the horrible worm. The cop finds their gold and ferry tickets.

On Statehood day, with the official palace affairs, Liviana introduces her two grandchildren to the press as Giorgio’s kids. With the bloodline secure, Liviana visits the sorceress and asks to see behind the mask. The sorceress removes the mask and the face that Liviana sees is her own.
