Allen Lawrence is a writer and artist based in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Allen has traveled the world and spent time in Europe, Asia and the Middle East gathering unique stories and view points. Alan has taken top creative writing courses in California and Hawaii. He regularly attends American Film Institute events. He is an avid reader and film student and enjoys both novels and screenplays including the AFI's top 100 movies of all time. According to Allen, the title, "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" is the quintessence of great Hollywood screenwriting.
Allen is also an accomplished artist with a specialty in golf course portraits and landscapes. His artwork has been selected for the cover of the Buick Invitation and many other events. His paintings are found in galleries and country clubs throughout the US.
