Hello Stage 32 and the mass of creatives,
I'm Mary Ammon MacNeith, I received my screenwriting degree a while back from San Francisco State University. Life has taken me on an interesting journey, and one that lead me to my husband who's tale of a historic sea rescue in U.S. history grabbed my attention as I wanted to see it on the big screen. He was a very young Coast Guardsman at the time, and the details he told me from his experience were amazing. We have since attended four reunions in Seattle and I've met so many of the survivors and rescuers of that event. I'm currently working on my second draft of the screenplay. Though I didn't want to move to the Seattle area years ago, I think the reason we were sent here was so I can meet the courageous people who endured this almost tragic event, so I could tell their story.
Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to contribute to the film Turnover as a producer. It’s such a lovely film, and shot in Long Beach, CA where I used to live.
A numerology report of mine recently exclaimed that I am a Seeker, Adventurer and a Revolutionary Storyteller. Now is my time to be that revolutionary storyteller and share my knowledge with the world.
All the best!
Mary
