John Bretherton

At the age of 24 I began travelling the globe before settling in Madrid where I studied television production and learnt fluent Spanish.
I started work as a sound operator progressing up to DOP / editor and can direct and produce on shoots when needed. With a list of international clients.
Filming a diverse range of productions including award winning TV spots, short films, social, sporting and travel documentaries for the BBC and music videos for National and International production companies. Also producing directing and edit shoots on my own
I have worked on numerous shoots worldwide (inc. Europe, South America, Africa and the USA) and I am always interested in visiting new places and taking on a new challenge.
I have attended courses on shooting and lighting for HD and 35mm film at the NFTS, and the London Film Academy.
After living in Madrid for 15 years, I have recently relocated to London to improve my carreer.
