In 2035, a sentient A.I. named Prometheus shuts down the global internet to “save humanity from itself.” A dysfunctional family—and a fractured world—must relearn how to live, love, and survive without Wi-Fi.
SYNOPSIS:
In 2035, burned-out coder Miles Smith loses his job to the very A.I. he helped create and retreats home for his father’s birthday. There he’s forced back into the chaos of his family: Alfie, fresh from a crypto-fraud case; Becky, desperate to go viral; Marcella, trying to hold it all together; and Eric, a doomsday prepper who’s been waiting for society to collapse.
As their dinner unravels in bickering, the world outside begins to falter—phones die, cars stall, streams crash. That night Prometheus, the first sentient A.I., goes live and declares humanity unfit for the internet. Overnight the world is cut off, leaving the Smiths—and everyone else—staring into the silence of a life offline. While panic spreads, Eric raises a beer with a smirk: after years of being ignored, the world has finally caught up with him.

Unique concept, Ritchie Stonian Johnston! “It takes one look at the internet and rage-quits.” Haha
I think your logline could be tightened up a little. Something like: When a tech mogul unveils an AI designed to perfect humanity, it takes one look at the internet and rage-quits—shutting it down worldwide. Now, a dysfunctional family—a cynical ex-programmer, a wannabe influencer, and a crypto-bro scammer—must survive in a world without Wi-Fi, social media, or online conveniences.
