Michael Grinter

I aqm slightly confused because I thought that when I joined Stage 32 I had entered a bio. It's easy to become confused at my age! I am an actor who was a singer. I started life as a teacher although in the early70's I was considering turning professional as a singer. I never for a variety of reasons (just as well, looking back on it.) Ispent most of my career teaching adults which i Loved much more than teaching children. From 1987 to 2004 I ran my own business as a training consultant although most of my work involved preparing managers for the transition of early retirement.

At the same time I looked at my own life and decided that acting was for me. I became a professional actor and later a professional singer, too. Over the years I have done lots of work which includes television, film and theatre. Several of the films I starred in have won prestigious international prizes while in 2010 I was nominated for best Male Performance in an Off-West End Play (known as the "Offies!") I haven't posted my CV and Showreel but here is a link to it if anyone wants to see them.
