Born and raised in the original surf town USA, Santa Cruz, California. I grew up in a performing arts family. My father was in a rock n roll band and did musical theatre while my mother toured the world singing with The Beach Boys, Bob Hope, etc.
I began to sing at a very young age. My first solo ever was at my elementary school's Christmas concert where I sang "Silent Night", A cappella in front of 1000 people at five years old where I got a standing ovation; as a little kid, this was pretty cool so I decided to keep on singing. I would continue to pick up Alto Saxophone in the 5th grade and eventually picked up guitar, piano, and bass.
I love all kinds of music, and love being able to perform any genre. From Mr. Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and The Rat Pack, to Queen, Boston, and the Eagles, to Green Day, The Expendables, N'sync, Backstreet Boys, Rascal Flatts, Linkin Park, to performing EDM acoustic covers; I take everything I can from these great performers and incorporate them into who I am as an artist.
I picked up acting as a child but it didn't really come into play in my life until my junior year of high school. I was walking off the field from track practice and I noticed there were auditions for the musical "Guys and Dolls". I figured, why not, and went to see if I could audition for the show. I got called back and was casted as Sky Masterson who Marlon Brando played in the movie version. Once the show got going, I felt as if I could really connect to the character. Once you as an actor understand where the character you are playing is coming from and what is driving that character, you can relate and become that character. I fell in love with acting and got accepted into the theatre arts program at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. I have performed in numerous student short films/films, One Act plays, Evil Dead the Musical as one of the leads named "Scott", and finally in my senior year, LMU put on RENT the musical where I was honored to be cast as Roger Davis. Also wrote my first original musical!
