Madeleine Bongard

Swiss German originie and born in the French part of Switzerland, I've been living and working for over ten years in several countries and plays in various languages. My projects are being held, among others, in Paris, Lausanne, Berlin, London, New York and Macedonia. After having practised intensively dancing and athletics during my childhood, I come to acting in 2001 : London Drama School, Studio Pygmalion, Vernice Klier, Pascal Luneau, Anna Rodriguez, Roy Hart Theatre, Odin Teatret, etc. My interest for body expression and how emotions function led me to work for years now with director Inez Cierna – first in individual coachings, then in a research project.
Next to numerous short movie shootings, I've been working on the duration with several theatre companies and/or directors, such as
- the Collectif KHAOS for a co-creation called SEX (being created, to come in 2015)
- director Hanna Lasserre – « Nous créons la joie, fermez les volets » (ACUD-Theater Berlin (2011) ; Manufacture des Abbesses (Paris) 2012)
- L'Escalier4 – « A plus » (ITF SkupiFestival (Macedonia) 2011,2012 et 2013 ; performance-installation J.A.L.O.U.S.I.E Paris 2014 ; CNC event Le jour le plus court et La Générale (Paris) 2011 ; La Fabrique (Montreuil) 2013)
In January 2014 I have played next to Mélanie Foulon in « TransmÊtre » directed by Melinda Heeger, company Yapluka, and just joined in Berlin the team of «Draussen die Welt» new creation of the Accentual Voices company, directed by Pauline Beaulieu, to come in 2015.
