Kim Strobl is an Austrian director and producer.
She has just won a BAFTA Cymru Award for her latest short film DANCING IN CIRCLES.
Her career started with winning 3 major awards at the Kodak Student Commercial Awards during her final year at the University of Westminster in London. From then on she continued directing and producing independent short films whilst working full-time for Oscar-winning company Passion Pictures and Passion RAW.
SUMMER BREEZE and IRREPARABLE have been taken on by distribution companies and have been screened worldwide. LOOSE ENDS, her graduation film from the Central Film School London, where she received her Advanced Directing Diploma in 2010, has won Best UK Graduation Film at the Ffresh Awards, amongst other awards.
Since 2014 she has worked as Associate Producer for Twofour Broadcast on Channel 4’s THE JUMP, which is being shot in Austria. She also works freelance for Hafzoo Productions and Wildruf in Austria.
