Hi, I am from Rome where I graduated at the Accademia di Costume e di Moda, studying costume and fashion design. Back in Italy I worked 10 years within the Costume Department, covering different roles, from Costume Designer and Maker to Wardrobe Supervisor both for stage and screen. As a Designer, I consider myself as a storyteller who uses both garments and accessories as tools to portray characters. As a Maker, I have realized many costumes for different productions, using my different skills, such as patterning, tailoring, mixing craft techniques, dyeing, aging costumes, building objects and headpieces. I pay attention to details, colors and textures, always looking for the right materials at the best price in order to respect the given budget. I recently finished MA Costume Design for Performance at UAL, where I had the huge honor to design and make Grayson Perry's 2019 UAL Chancellor Robe. Now, I just finished my final project, a short movie which I produced, directed, designing set and costumes.
