About Brian

I am the Director of Admissions at Jacob Krueger Studio, the only screenwriting school that teaches both the art and craft of the writing process.

I am also a screenwriter currently working on a feature and a short, both historical fiction dramas. I gravitate towards dramas, high stakes, action, heists, and thrillers. You know, kick-ass, ass-kicking movies. I'm more intrigued if the story is true or original. I like the classics as well and enjoy learning from and infusing those elements into my scripts.

As a writer, I'm always learning, taking notes on where I can improve. When I'm not typing, I'm observing my characters in my head, trying to figure out what's in their hearts, what their deep emotional need is.

As a lifelong film enthusiast, I really just love a well told story, and feel blessed to create and be in the company of my people, fellow creatives .
