I am a film and video professional now living in Chicago, Illinois. The creation of digital media is my passion. Movies, TV, animation, and gear feed my hunger to stay creative. I graduated from the Art Institute of California- San Francisco with a B.Sc. in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production. While there I received a top of the line education and a tremendous amount of hands on training which resulted in my feeling comfortable in any role on set. I moved to Chicago to further my education; and I am currently a student in Columbia College’s MFA program for Creative Production.
I have worked on everything from feature and short narratives, to documentaries, to commercials and PSAs, and even a few TV pilots. Early on, I specialized in producing and production management. Doing this gave me the skills I need to run a set. But I also gained the skills to create the picture, command a performance, and pull it all together in post.
Since graduating from AI, I have focused mainly on camera work and script supervising; but have also worked as a grip and gaffer. Part of what I love most about filmmaking is the equipment. I am a total gear-head and could talk for days about the inner workings of any camera system. I love getting hands-on with cameras and lights to really pull great looking products together.
