About Yair

Yair Packer was born in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Yair Packer worked in the local family business of Steel and Ceramic Tiles until 1968.

At that time he decided to leave the family business and established his own company as Israeli representative for foreign TV companies such as ITC England ( The Saint, The Muppet Show etc.)

Being in the market for TV series exposed Yair Packer to the fast growing potential of the licensing & merchandising world of animated TV characters. In 1972 he was nominated by The Walt Disney Company (Consumer Products Division) as its exclusive Marketing Manager in Israel. Yair Packer held this position for 25 years until 1997 when The Walt Disney Company decided - as a worldwide policy - to establish its own offices in Israel.

Between the years 1972 to 1997 Yair Packer also represented - with great success - the licensing rights of other well known characters such as The Smurfs, Transformers, G.I.Joe, The Simpsons, The Filnstones, Dennis the Menace etc.
