Soon this game threatens to take over his life and Aven gets obsessed with a mysterious red-haired woman. What started as a game, eventually becomes bitter reality, where boundaries are non-existent. Has this game become reality or is reality nothing more than a game?

Alien is a keyword here, explored by Natalie MacMahon in a very inspired and creative way. There is nothing more strange than finding love where it wasn’t before or seeing it fade and disappear knowing how deep it was in the beginning. From complete happiness to utter despair, "A Universal Love Story" reflects on the way these situations develop in a fictional setting still being developed: the future and its aesthetics, here seen in a very positive light. "A Universal Love Story" is different, is alive and is filled with hope. Romance can develop anywhere, and the beautiful future developed in the mind of MacMahon seems to be bright, social and positive, three things we should work hard to achieve by then.

It Is Getting Darker Every Day (2017)
Film (Drama and Sci-Fi) Writer/Director n a world where light has become a luxury, a young woman who has been living in the darkness for the last couple of years, faces the last minutes before she is going to see the daylight again. “Alina”, a young hard working woman, feels like she has won the lottery, because today it's her turn to leave the darkness for one whole day. While waiting to be picked up to start her adventure, she has mixed feelings about it and can't decide wether she should be the happiest person in the world or if it would be better to continue living without this experience, that could change her life forever.

Senses (2016)
Film (Drama) Writer/Director Three different people who live in the same building have one thing in common- they are all loners caught in their very own world- relying on the routine of their every day lives. But what happens when that routine stops? Are they able to cope or does their world fall apart completely? Anna, Martin and Leander experience life through different senses. To each of them one sense is especially important. Anna, a theatre actress starts an involuntary relationship with a stranger who makes her experience different sensations in her imagination while Leander can't wait for the days to go by, so he can close his Antiques store and hurry home to listen to his neighbour play the guitar while he is having dinner. Martin, the third character, keeps going to the same restaurant for lunch every day, ordering the same dish until one day he is forced to make a small change, which seems to have a big impact on his life.

Like a Summer Sonata (2016)

Torn in between being attracted and scared of him, she starts following him everywhere he goes, trying to find out more about him and his secret. “Like A Summer Sonata” consists of four different parts that are named after the classical structure of a Sonata. The black & white element makes it a timeless, surreal film noir type of story in which several moral questions are being asked.

With the help of her new found Hipster friend "Nico" she discovers the purpose of her journey and tries to solve the mystery.

The Man Who Couldn't Cry (2014)

Having watched other people cry, he realizes that he is different than everybody else. Eamon is fascinated by people who are able to show their emotions and doesn’t just record them crying with his camera, but also collects their tears in test tubes. When he meets Emily, a young woman who can’t stop crying, he overcomes his shyness and invites her to stay with him. Two strangers, who couldn’t be more different from each other, share an intense time together that changes their lives forever.
