Born in Berlin emigrated to Australia, am fluent in French and German. Started writing in my thirties, poetry to begin with, then gravitated towards film: a love at first sight, which led to an affair with screen writing and became a full on relationship. My first completed screenplay I pitched in LA last year through which I have built up a valuable network of great friends. I'm awaiting the attachment of a Melbourne producer to this project and further interest from the US and Europe. Meantime I'm working on two more screenplays and a novel (a Novella trilogy). I write freelance articles and am also editor of a Journal that comes out twice a year entitled Dialogue Australasia Network, among many other involvements too numerous to mention here. Reading Philosophy, Quantum Mechanics (+ Astrophysics), Theology and History (Ancient and Modern) plus listening to good music (broad range from Rock through Jazz to the Classics), enjoying a great dinner with fine wines and good friends are just some of my interests (how much time have you got? LOL). The people I most regard for helping me in the uncertain world of Hollywood include: Gary Shusett of Sherwood Oaks Experimental College - bless his soul, and Jeff Bollow of FAST Screenplay. Without them I might still be turning in circles. I also take great inspiration from the fact that my great-grandfather and grandfather are highly esteemed writers in Bulgaria, and that my first wife 'saw' my films on the screen before she died. Family and friends are the joy of my life.
