Rob Mossotti

I am an independent composer of music that crosses several genres such as New Age, Experimental, Modern Contemporary, Electronic/techno, Jazz Fusion and Funk. I started playing piano at the age of 11 and composing at 14. I guess you could say I grew up around music. I always played in the school orchestra (also a cellist), chorus and vocal jazz ensemble. Even played in the Syracuse Symphony Youth Orchestra as a teenager. Music was always encouraged in our household. Despite this, I never actually pursued my passion for music as a career until now. I actually went to school for something completely different and was a high school science teacher for 2 years but life happened and here I am pursuing my passion now because I know if I don't at least try I will always regret it. I have been fortunate in the last few months to have been given sonar x3 producer software which has allowed me to make home recordings, mix and master various tracks and post my work on the internet. My goal is to have my music published in film, videogames and/or commercials.
