About Brenda

Since starting Harvest Productions NYC in 1998, I’ve created, written, produced and directed several Off Broadway and Off-Off Broadway plays. I have also created and written several sitcom pilots, movies scripts and TV specs. I have so much faith that I will receive producer(s) and backers so these projects can advance to the big and little screen.

I recently created and wrote a Children’s TV script entitled “Bedtime Story, Interrupted”. I have also created several TV sitcom pilots, one is titled “The Montels”. This hilarious show was showcased, in front of a live audience, at the Producers Club and the Mint Theater in Manhattan. I also have created/written a sitcom pilot called “When Crazy Dropped by for Coffee”. I am speaking with potential backers for these shows. As for my film projects, they are mostly thrillers and suspense scripts. They are entitled “Unthinkable”, Minus Thirteen”, and “After the Rapture…Will You Take the Mark”. I have also written a few sample “specs” for a well-known children’s television show and a sitcom as well.

My plays have performed in various New York venues and they always receive such a great response from the audiences. In March 2017, my one-act play, “Wisdom of a Worn Woman” performed in the smaller theater at the Performing Arts Theater at York College in NY. I also directed and produced it. My latest comedy play I’ve created/wrote is entitled "Who's in Your House". I would like to take this into production between 2017 and 2018. When my other plays perform, many come back a second time, especially the play “The First Lady’s Last Supper”. It once performed at the Performing Arts Center of York College, 1400-seat theater.
