Javier studied acting under Actors Studio moderator Salome Jens, Ellen Geer and Allan Miller; he was also an active supporter of the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films from 1994-1997.
In 2005, Javier completed a Master of Arts in Teaching from Chapman University and began teaching English at the LA County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), where he served for six years before collaborating to create a highly successful Cinematic Arts program there. He served for another five years as a teacher of Digital Film Production, Screenwriting, Cinematography and Film Theory/History.
Working as a Director of Photography and Camera Operator, Javier has worked on projects in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia and major U.S. cities.
