About Darcey

Originally from Texas, I've been in Hollywood for a few years now. I am more often a comedic actress, but I also enjoy drama. I tend to be typed as the love child of Melissa McCarthy and Ryan Reynolds. Is that a dangerous mix of sarcasm and sexiness? Yes, yes, it is. But the world needs Deadpool's chubby death-obsessed kid sister. I learn something new with each role and love taking on new projects. One of my favorite recent roles was in an Emmy-nominated short film that screened at roughly 45 festivals and won a dozen or so awards. I'm currently a principal actress, writer, and producer for a YouTube channel called Mixed Nuts. My dream roles include (but of course are not limited to) a dwarf shieldmaiden on Amazon’s Lord of the Rings, a sorceress or dwarf lass on Netflix’s The Witcher(come on season 3, I learned to throw axes double-handed!), a smart-ass smuggler on season 2 of The Mandalorian, Mara Jade on the upcoming Obi-Wan series, and Melaine in the Wheel of Time series. If that doesn't fill you in on my deep unabiding love for fantasy/syfy and my penchant for learning skills that would only be useful in real life....well, during a zombie apocalypse, or a very short murder spree, then I don't know what will.
