About Yael

This would be the perfect place to bore you with my life's many events.. I could tell you, how I rode an elephant through deep Indian Jungle, or how I "nomaded" with the beduins in an egyptian desert. Furthermore I could throw in, how I've always liked to travel and try new things - especially when they involved adventure. And of course this bio wouldn't be complete without me mentioning that I was born in October 1992 in New Zealand, with three extra toes.

(Ok, I was kidding about the toes..) I could also inform you of my love for TV, Film, Music and Comedy.. and how I passionately believe that they enrich our lives in ways, that are otherwise impossible; how they can lighten hearts, bring people together, inspire, and maybe ignite new interest, where before there was none. And to sum it all up I'd tell you that acting and filmmaking is my absolute passion because it allows me to be completely honest, and that I'm working towards my own TV-show (and am looking for investors/producers/mentors) , and plan to be able to film all over the world someday soon, until I've seen more than would ever fit into this small window.
But I'm not gonna bore you with that.

Ps: I've often been called "Movie Brain" because I'm very good at predicting the throughlines and outcomes of stories. Proofreading and consulting on scripts, where the storyline may still be wobbly, incoherent, or just in need of a second set of eyes, is a passion of mine. I always take the characters' thoughts and motivations into consideration (advantage of being an actress, when doing this job) and am very precise about the logic of the story, e.g. when a scene doesn't make sense at that point in the script, or is simply superfluous. I like to work closely with my clients and keep the channels of communication open at all times. Please do not hesitate to contact me, should you be in need of a different perspective! Thank you.

Unique traits: I have hair. And a nose. They're unique because they're mine. (And also if you imagine me in a group of people who don't have either.) I'm happy to travel for work anytime, as I do so often. Performing under pressure, on short notice or with jetlag is one of my fortés. I can do many jobs and always try to be an asset on set, whether I'm acting or not. My work-ethic is pretty much: no sleep before a wrap and before the set is ready for tomorrow. Also, I'm the type of person that keeps her focus, when everyone else is tired and cranky and that can help pull up morale and get things done.
