The art of acting is a fluid thing, ever changing with the times and style that enter and leave the vogue of the moment. As an actor it’s your job to ride within the ebb and flow of what’s trending, to stay on top of the method or approach that allows you to fulfill any acting challenge being presented. To do this requires an understanding of all the tools and methods available to you as an actor, and that means studying different approaches with different teachers to learn different styles in a quest to hone those techniques that will fill your acting arsenal and prepare you for any situation that is thrown at you. Gone are the days of learning a single acting style as a panacea to fulfill any acting challenge. The goal is not to merely be mediocre, clinging to one way of doing things, but to excel as a truly well-armed versatile actor.

The Pitch Session proved invaluable, not only for the experience, but also because I've been asked to send my one hour TV pilot, "Third Branch" for consideration. Joey was great -- called me directly to make sure the communication linkage was all set, totally supportive. Thanks Stage 32 for the opportunity!!

Last week, I just had a second pass on my written pitch for : "I Love You, Oscar Wilde." Kudos to Joey for his advice and help. Tonight am pitching (first Skype pitch!) to Isabelle L of CAA, so hopefully it'll be third time lucky. Wish me luck!
