About Edward

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Actor/Producer Edward Singletary Jr. co-starred in the feature film Thank You, Good Night, with Mark Hamill (Star Wars) and Sally Kirkland (Anna), and in various national commercial campaigns, including one directed by Joel Schumacher (The Lost Boys) and another co-starring Goldie Hawn. Edward studied for years with legendary acting teacher David LeGrant and now himself teaches at The Studio for Acting.
As a producer, he has worked on the films Sunday Afternoons, starring Paul Dooley, The Marionettes, and Delphinium: A Childhood Portrait of Derek Jarman, which was acquired in 2011 by the British Film Institute for preservation in the National Film Archive.
In 2012, Mr. Singletary produced and co-starred in the 35mm feature film, Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean (official selection: Palm Springs, Seattle, Guadalajara, Rio de Janeiro, Transilvania, and Reykjavik International film festivals, among others). It was released theatrically in the United States, the UK, and Germany. The San Francisco Chronicle declared JT1951 "mesmerizing and sexy" and Artforum pronounced it "a nuanced portrayal of an entire era." The film was released on VOD, DVD, and digital from May/June 2013.
Edward's 2017 Sci-Fi Thriller "The KAOS Brief" is soon to be released on various platforms worldwide.
