I am a former advertising executive with a fine arts degree from Syracuse University. Started writing while I was an at-home mom. I'm an active member in SCBWI and have been writing for children's magazines for about 7 years. I have book manuscripts for two fun kids concepts that I'd love to sell as series. Both humorous and both high concept. I also developed pilot episodes for each in Alan Kingsberg's TV screenwriting classes in NYC. My characters and concepts caught the eye of the development team at Nelvana (long story, but gave me hope - and if this character stopped them in their tracks, I believe he needs to be seen!!) Just started my first attempt at a manuscript for adults -- far cry from the 7-11 year old audience, as this one is quite spicy!! Looking for an agent...
