Recently wrote, directed and produced "Monday Morning" a socio-political drama set within the context of a Minnesota political campaign and the harsh realities of Los Angeles's homeless community. To be released (Vanguard Cinema) in May 2013, Monday Morning received a limited theatrical release at the Laemmle theaters. Due to Monday Morning's subject matter and explicit footage, Monday Morning offended some while receiving praise from a number of critics. Because of the graphic footage, Monday Morning is yet to be rated.
Starting out, he studied filmmaking in college. He was asked by classmates to act in their student projects. He then studied with some of the top acting coaches in the industry, was soon cast in local plays, receiving critical acclaim and awards, an landed running roles on TV including "General Hospital", "The Young and the Restless", "Days of Our Lives." Actor, Jerry Orbach (Law and Order), read one of Nat's screenplays, "California Casanova", and offered to play the lead role in it, which brought about the independent financing. Nat also directed the movie (MGM Home Video). He was then asked to direct the production company's other feature, a zany comedy, "Club Fed" (MGM Home Video). Nat wrote an existential love story entitled, "Channels". Nat directed (and produced) "For Heaven's Sake" (2008; Vanguard Cinema), starring Florence Henderson, Allison Lange, David Paetkau, Stephanie Patton, Yaani King and Kathryn Gordon. Olliewood Films, Inc.. optioned Nat's existential screenplay, "Channels" (2008; Vanguard Cinema), which Nat directed (and produced) and also starred in with Ed Asner, Kim Oja, John Kassir, Taylor Negron and Joan Van Ark. Both films were official selections at independent film festivals. Nat wrote the feature "700 Hill" for Monterrey Pictures. Along with his other fourteen screenplays, Nat also story consulted on "The Duke" (Buena Vista).
