Hi! I've wanted to be a writer since I was a teenager. Time and life challenges redirected my focus. But I am back on track, and I have been writing steadily since 2011 where I was encouraged to revisit my childhood passion and just do it. Around 2013 I developed a concept that was based loosely on some life experiences that I felt needed to be shared in the form of a sitcom. I didn't know how to go about doing this but my desire and a little bit of guidance from friends seemed to propel me in the right direction. In 2014 I actually moved forward with my project and found myself collaborating with a production company to create a more polished professional presentation of my concept in the form of a sizzle reel, treatment and mini bible. Shortly thereafter we moved forward to shopping my package and immediately had positive feedback and consideration from a major network. Although that project did not move past the consideration phase I was thrilled to have the experience and exposure. During that time, I began to vigorously express myself through writing and entering writing contests for the experience. I have a couple of concepts and projects under consideration at this time and I am encouraged to continue my love of writing with the intent of seeing my name as Creator, Writer and Producer one day soon.
