About Micaela

Micaela has long pursued a career in storytelling. She has her BA in communications from The Evergreen State College and her MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California.

She has experience in many different aspects of production and is generally very passionate about the whole process from development to distribution. She is highly skilled at collaborative team building, problem solving, and project logistics. These skills, as well as a creative and keen understanding of story, garnered her an Award for Outstanding Achievement in producing at The First Look Film Festival, for her work on the short Nzara ’76.

Currently, Micaela is working on getting a young adult urban fantasy film series off the ground. She is looking to meet other filmmakers in the San Diego area as well as other connections through out the world.

Micaela strongly believes that the wonderful strength of our industry is in our ability to create collaboratively. She'd love to meet you and collaborate long into the future.

Unique traits: Micaela has the ability to see how each small piece fits a larger whole.
