His works include the award-winning Second Chance (WorldFest Silver Remi, 2016), the whimsical Manny and the Bell, and the laugh-out-loud comedy Mugger B Gone.
David is currently spearheading two exciting projects:
Manny – a TV pilot based on his short film Manny and the Bell, where he explores the life of a washed-up boxer with a blend of humor and heart.
Veterans Painting Club – a touching reality show that follows war veterans as they learn valuable life skills through oil painting lessons, highlighting their personal journeys and resilience.
David's commitment to storytelling goes beyond entertainment. His films explore the intricacies of human relationships, offering audiences not only engaging narratives but also thought-provoking reflections on society. In Manny and the Bell, David introduces us to a boxer grappling with life's challenges. In just a few minutes, we are drawn into a story filled with humor, struggle, and relatable moments of human vulnerability, all culminating in a dose of physical comedy.
One of David's most personal projects is Veterans Painting Club, a series close to his heart. Through this show, he aims to honor veterans by showcasing their experiences and teaching them the art of oil painting as a therapeutic and practical skill. It's a powerful mix of education, healing, and creative expression.
David’s previous work, Second Chance, is a moving drama about the complex relationship between a father and his estranged son, navigating an emotional journey before an unexpected twist unfolds. David has collaborated with some top industry talent on this project, including Dan Braverman, David Scott Heck, Brandon Pentecost, and Emmy Award-winning cinematographer Larry McKee.
