From IndieFilm Interview (8/13)
"Whether he’s working as an actor, a producer, a filmmaker or a writer, for Shaun, at the heart of each is story.
Shaun says he’s been telling stories since he told his 2nd grade teacher that Lee Majors was his dad. “He was my hero at the time,” jokes Shaun. Lee Majors played Steve Austin in the 1970’s hit TV series, “The Six Million Dollar Man”, the staple of every young boy’s weekly TV schedule.
“The opening sequence still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up,” says Shaun who attributes the sequence for instilling the storytelling bug within him. “I was about 7-years-old when I started watching it and I totally believed the opening sequence was a true story,” he said. "When I found out it was a work of fiction and Steve Austin had blood rather than wires in his veins, I suddenly grasped the power of story.”
